When you are in Darwin be sure to make time to visit Crocosaurus Cove Darwin's newest attraction, located right in the Heart of Darwin's central tourist precinct, on the corner of Mitchell and Peel Streets.
Enter the world of the awesome Northern Territory Saltwater Crocodile, with some of the largest in captivity on display. Bring your bathers and ‘Swim with the Crocs’ in the separate pool along side the croc enclosure.
Perfect for the serious adrenalin junkies – maximum of 2 persons at a time - The Cage of Death at Crocosaurus Cove. The purpose built acrylic cage is lowered from an overhead monorail into any of the four separate croc enclosures for your “up close and personal” dive encounter with Croc Cove’s massive salt water crocodiles.
Relax and enjoy the licensed café in the centre of this iconic attraction. Make sure you leave time to browse through the souvenir shop and pick up unique NT gifts for your loved ones.
This facility also accommodates the largest display of Australian reptiles in the world, a two storey fresh water aquarium, a turtle sanctuary, Aboriginal Art and local NT Aboriginal Culture displays as well as comprehensive displays of crocodilian from other parts of the world
There’s plenty of interactive stuff for the kids who can also get close to the baby Croc action in our Croc Kids bubbles. Allow 1.5 – 2 hours to make the most of your visit to Crocosaurus Cove – where everything Crocodilian is on display.
